Multicultural Education Group (MEG)

Our organization was established in 2014 and its organizing committee members are all volunteers from the Elgin area community. Originally, the purpose of our organization was to provide our children the opportunity to gain knowledge and appreciation of our Lao culture and heritage in a fun, structured, safe, and engaging manner.  The summer camp offers two weeks of summer programming in the Lao language, history, arts, crafts, dance, and field trips. We have since expanded our program to include other cultures and organizations.
